This is the FAO Schwartz exclusive GI Joe-Friendship 7 Mercury Space Capsule & 12″ GI Joe Astronaut from 2000.
When I was a kid, the one toy I never got that I wanted was the Mercury astronaut GI Joe and capsule. In 2000, Hasbro released a limited edition version of that classic toy, but this time, the capsule was fully painted and the astronaut was available as a Caucasian or an African-American.
This is the black astronaut version, and is still sealed in its box.
On eBay, these go for $220 – $300.
You get this for $199.
